Our training vehicles include a selection of new Vauxhall Corsa’s with 1.4 petrol engines. Each vehicle is fitted with “He-Man” dual controls for safety and equipped with power steering and ABS brakes to assist stopping and are all air conditioned.

We currently offer training in the following areas: Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas up to Saltdean/Telscombe Cliffs to the east, Lancing and Worthing to the west, as well as the Lewes and Burgess Hill regions.

Due to the changes in the requirements in motorcycle and other vehicular testing, The Driving Standards Agency has been rolling out new Multi-Purpose Test Centres (MPTCs) across the country in the last few years.

This resulted in the closure, in January 2009, of the established in-town/city test centres in Brighton and Hove to accommodate the new Burgess Hill MPTC. Consequently, 1st Class Driver Training covers the areas encompassing the new Burgess Hill test routes in addition to the existing Brighton and Hove region. We also include the more popular routes around the Lancing test centre which appeal to pupils due to the easier driving conditions.

Whether you are visiting, a student or a new resident in the U.K., 1st Class Driver Training is here to help you. We have taught many students from language schools in the Brighton and Hove area. Our instructors offer one-to-one tuition and are experienced in assisting those pupils for whom English is a second language. 1st Class have successfully helped pupils from a number of countries including Albania, Latin America, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Cameroon and Nigeria. We can help advise on licence requirements. We can also provide help with studying for your theory test in your own language if required.
